Amplify Media is a website filled with thousands of hours of Christian content for children, youth, and adults. You can find videos that can be watched individually, as a family, with your community group, or with your Sunday School Class. The Chosen Discussion Group – Season 2

Join us for an eight-week discussion series centered on Season 2 of The Chosen, the acclaimed TV series that brings the story of Jesus and those around him to life in fresh and compelling ways.

From Monday, October 19, through Monday, December 7, we will gather weekly in the Theater (Room 302) from 7-8:30pm to watch full episodes together, followed by guided conversation. This is a discussion-based group rather than a lecture, creating space for honest questions, personal reflection, and meaningful dialogue.

Whether you are familiar with The Chosen or brand new to it, this series is open to all. No prior Bible knowledge is required–just a willingness to watch, reflect, and join the conversation.

Trickster. Traitor. Migrant. Queen. Who are the four women named in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus, and what do they have to tell us about the messiah? Join Sara Wegman for this four-week Bible study on Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba. This is a remote study offered via Zoom. All are welcome.

New Members Classes

If you are interested in becoming a member at Haddonfield UMC, join us at one of our New Members classes! Class members will explore the ministry and vision of Haddonfield UMC, the history and theology of The United Methodist Church, and how they can live out their membership in the life of the church. Two sessions of the class will be held, but you only need to attend one class. The sessions are: Sunday, November 8 and 15, from 1-3pm in Sayre Pavilion. New members will be received in worship on Sunday, November 22. If you are unable to attend worship on November 22, Pastor Chris will receive you into membership on another Sunday during worship.

Awaiting the Already Book Study

This Advent, join Pastor Yeeun Kim for a three-week book study on Awaiting the Already by Magrey deVega.

The book walks through how each of the four Gospels tells the story of Jesus coming into the world, and invites us to live in the space between waiting for Christ and knowing he has already come. Each week will include reading, conversation, and reflection on what the Advent story means for our faith today. No Bible study background is needed, and you are welcome even if you can't attend every week.

Register for Awaiting the Already Book Study

Confirmation Class

Do you have a 7th or 8th grader who is ready to explore their faith and discover how they fit into God’s bigger story? Our Confirmation Class begins Sunday, January 24, and is an opportunity to ask thoughtful questions, build relationships, and learn more about what it means to be part of the United Methodist Church. Through classes, field trips exploring our Christian and Methodist heritage, mission projects, and a retreat, students will have opportunities to learn, serve, reflect, and grow together. Activities will take place approximately twice a month, giving families a sense of the time commitment involved.

Confirmation is about more than learning—it’s about finding your place in the life of the church. Each student will choose a ministry team where they will serve alongside church leaders, with opportunities including worship, tech, childcare, Floral Arts Guild, ushering, greeting, hospitality, serving Communion, and reading Scripture. Through this shared service, students will build relationships with adults in our congregation who may become their Confirmation sponsors. We’ll celebrate their journey on Pentecost Sunday, May 16, with a blessing at 9am and Confirmation Service at 10:30am. The Confirmation rehearsal and dinner will be Friday, May 14, at 6pm. in Propert Café.
