Defining Moments Sermon Series

When living life moving forward, events, developments, and seasons can seem like a random series of dots. But when we look backward, we can often see how God connects the dots to weave a pattern of grace, redemption, and providence. In January we will look at defining moments in Jesus’ life and ministry and reflect on how we can discern God’s guidance and movement in our own life. Join us this month to find God in your own Defining Moments.

Called to Journey, Called to Welcome

Did you know that Jesus begins his life as a refugee, fleeing violence with his family? Throughout the Bible, stories of migration, displacement, and welcome are woven into the story of faith.

Join us for "Called to Journey, Called to Welcome: A Biblical Perspective on Immigration," a three-week study exploring immigration through Scripture and the lens of our faith as part of the United Methodist Church. Rooted in our Social Principles and created by the General Board of Church and Society, this study invites thoughtful, prayerful conversation grounded in compassion and justice. Facilitated by Pastor Cricket and Ben White, chair of our Church & Society Team, this study will help participants recognize the call to hospitality, understand God’s blessing beyond borders, and navigate faithful risk and sacred welcome. To register for the study, click the button below and fill out our registration form.
